Management

Klein Ileleji, PhD, is Co-founder, CEO/Chief Technology Officer with over 20 years of experience in grain post-harvest technology. He is involved in three major USAID funded projects in Senegal, Kenya, Nigeria and Tajikistan. He has experience living and working in Africa, Europe and China. Klein is currently a Professor and Extension Engineer at the Department of Agricultural and Biological Engineering (ABE) at Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana. At Purdue, his research interest is in grain and crop post-harvest technology, powder technology and biomass feedstock systems engineering. He also leads the grain post-harvest and renewable energy and energy efficiency extension programs in ABE. He holds a BEng (with honors, 1992) in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Ilorin in Nigeria, MPS (1996) in Applied Economics and Business Management from a joint program between the Slovak Agricultural University in Nitra and Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, and a PhD (1998) in Agricultural Engineering from the Slovak Agricultural University in Nitra, Slovakia. Prior to his current job at Purdue, he was a Post-doctoral Research Associate at the University of Minnesota (1999-2001) and Purdue University (2001-2004), working on grain quality.



Reiko Habuto Ileleji, PhD, Co-founder/CFO and Global Missions Leader has experience in basic financial management and stewardship. Reiko holds a BA (1998) in English Language and Literature with a minor in Japanese Language Education from Bukyo University, Saitama Prefecture in Japan; MS (2000) and PhD (2008) degrees in Foreign Language Education from Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana. She owns and operates a home rental business (Circle of Community LLC) and is a licensed medical interpreter. She works part-time as a medical interpreter and teacher at the Japanese Language School in Indianapolis. Her role as Global Missions Leader is to identify and partner with faith-based and community development organizations and NGOs to deploy JTI technologies to people and communities in order to grow small and medium enterprises, and develop entrepreneurial skills in women and youths.

Research and Development

Heeju Kim, MA works with JUA Technologies as the Design Director leading product design and development. She is a product designer who is deeply interested in emerging technologies and social impact. She earned a BA in Spatial Design and Fiber Design from Ewha Women University, Seoul, South Korea (2013). She earned a MA in Design Products from the Royal College of Arts, London, UK (2016). She is currently a visiting design researcher at the University of Tokyo School of Information and Communication Engineering, Tokyo, Japan and Visiting Scholar at Purdue University School of Design, West Lafayette, Indiana, USA.

Cedric Ogden, PhD serves as a renewable energy technology consultant to JUA Technologies. He is an Assistant Professor and Extension engineer at Fort Valley State University in Georgia with expertise in renewable energy, where he leads Fort Valley State renewable energy research and extension activities. He holds a BS (2003) in Agricultural Engineering Technology from Fort Valley State University, MS (2006) in Plant, Soil and Agricultural Systems from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale and PhD (2010) in Agricultural and Biological Engineering from Purdue University. His expertise includes renewable energy and post-harvest/powder technology.

Clairmont Clementson, PhD serves as a technology consultant to JUA Technologies. He holds a BEng (Hons in 1998) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Guyana, Turyeken, a MS (2006) and PhD (2010) in Agricultural and Biological Engineering from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and Purdue University, West-Lafayette, respectively. He served for 6 years as a Research Scientist at the Ministry of Agriculture in Georgetown, Guyana, where he was the Bioenergy Program Coordinator for 3 years. His expertise includes renewable energy, powder and post-harvest technology. He is currently a Post-Doctoral Research Associate at Purdue University working on grain post-harvest technology.

 

Board of Advisors:

Larry A. Loehr was formerly Director-Business Development of Advanced BioNutrition Corp, a science-based start-up company in Columbia, Maryland. From 2008-2012 he served as Executive Vice President/President-Delivery Technologies of Advanced BioNutrition. Earlier in his career, Mr. Loehr was a distinguished 30 year employee of the DuPont Company and served in various agriculture and nutrition platform marketing and business leadership roles in the United States, Canada, Latin America, and other global assignments including Global Marketing Leader/Global Business Manager of the Insecticides portfolio. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from Purdue University in Agricultural Mechanization and a Master of Science degree from University of Missouri in Agricultural Engineering.
